During Amber Sky flight-attendant crews are competing to receive awards in 7 nominations. Along with their prizes the winners will be able to share the joy and sense of achievement they have gained during Amber Sky.

What’s more, the winner will receive the right to be called Sales Person of Amber Sky. Take up the challenge to prove that you are the best of the best!

To ensure that only the most talented participants are selected for nomination, our trainers and their assistants undertake to observe and evaluate the contribution and dedication of teams throughout the competition. Special attention as a result is paid to the execution of practical tasks and the level of participation within activities and training.

All awards are presented within the auspicious atmosphere of the Amber Sky Gala Dinner, where media, politicians, representatives of aviation industries, and supplier and wholesale enterprise managers are also in attendance.

List of nominations:

Sales enhancing PA

This category assesses the participants’ ability to make fast, creative and effective use of in-flight announcements to inspire passenger product interest and ultimately drive in-flight sales.

In-flight product merchandising

This category assesses the participant’s ability to make creative and effective use of product layout on trolleys to greater engage and entice customers in order to capitalise on impulse buys and maximize in-flight sales.

Effective applying of selling techniques

Cabin crew that makes best use of these techniques will always be able to arouse customer interest, effectively present alternative purchase options, and most importantly, enhance sales volume. This nomination is designed to evaluate the participants’ use of correct techniques in order to engage customers and encourage sales.

Selling with emotional intelligence

A client’s emotional make-up directly influences his/her desire for purchasing products. The ability to manage these emotions in order to trigger the purchasing impulse, as well direct and control it, are far from easy. This nomination category evaluates the participants’ competence in this.

Product knowledge and Brand awareness

It is the salesperson who knows their product inside and out, and can call up its key qualities at the drop of a hat that can inspire real consumer confidence and maximize sales.

Great teamwork performance

This award is judged on support and responsibility, punctuality and teamwork – as this is what allows the team to make its contribution even more effectively – the ability to stick together and achieve even greater success.
